Artful Youth by Las Olas Capital Arts
The Artful Youth by Las Olas Capital Arts program is an immersive arts education initiative designed to connect community, culture, and creativity through hands-on, artist-led experiences. Each workshop invites participants to explore diverse mediums — from painting, printmaking, and collage to fashion design and mixed media — as tools for storytelling, self-expression, and emotional well-being.
Rooted in South Florida’s vibrant art scene, the series blends art history, contemporary technique, and mindfulness practice to nurture both skill and spirit. Participants create meaningful works that range from Egyptian-inspired cartouches and Pop Art canvases to urban sketches, modern still lifes, and personal self-portraits. Workshops such as Paint Your Emotions, Texture Zen, and The Art of Collage integrate therapeutic art practices, fostering reflection, healing, and community connection.
By celebrating the intersection of creativity and culture, this series empowers artists of all ages to find their voice, express their stories, and contribute to the evolving visual landscape of South Florida. Whether through paint, pattern, fabric, or found objects, each project affirms the belief that art has the power to transform emotion into beauty and individuals into a collective force of inspiration.

Funds distributed to Las Olas Capital Arts to pay for art supplies and two professional artists time to teach the art workshop in our Broward County community. It supports the cost of one (1) student's complimentary art workshop. We received a generous grant to begin the Artful Youth Program by Las Olas Capital Arts. Your tax-deductible gift will support the program continuing in the future.
