Christina Prezzemolo Crowley

Christina Prezzemolo Crowley is a Las Olas Capital Arts Board Member and Artful Youth Program Professional Art Teacher.

Prezzemolo, a South Florida artist with over thirty years of experience working in watercolor, oil, collage, and mixed media. Inspired by nature, history, and the human experience, her work explores the emotional connection between people and the natural world through luminous color, atmosphere, and realism. She creates many of her own pigments from botanicals she grows and forages, and incorporates handmade paper and heirloom textures into her collages, including impressions made with her grandmother’s century-old crocheted lace. Christina holds a BFA with a minor in Art History from Florida State University and continues to teach, exhibit, and create throughout South Florida.
