This annual opportunity celebrates the creativity of South Florida artists while showcasing the beauty, culture, and spirit of Fort Lauderdale. Stay tuned for your chance to submit original artwork inspired by Riverwalk Fort Lauderdale, our vibrant downtown, waterfront lifestyle, architecture, public spaces, events, and the unique experiences that make our community so special.

The 2025 competition welcomed both two-dimensional and three-dimensional artwork across a wide range of mediums, including painting, sculpture, photography, drawing, mixed media, watercolor, charcoal, gouache, and more. The winning artwork was featured on the cover of the July 2025 issue of Go Riverwalk Magazine.

The Riverwalk is a 2.5-mile brick walk on both sides of the New River, meandering through Downtown Fort Lauderdale. The Downtown Riverwalk District includes 10 parks as well as a lush tropical waterfront in the downtown center of an urban metropolis.
